October 21, 2008 - Sterling Cross principals Mary and Christopher Lower are the guest lecturers at the College of St. Catherine's Small Business and Entrepreneurship course tonight from 6:15-7:00 pm. This is Mary's third year and Christopher's first year of presenting theory and application of entrepreneurial Marketing and Public Relations.
"The best teachers are those that are true experts in the field - the business entrepreneurs that are in the trenches day in and day out," said Jeanne Bailey, the course instructor. Jeanne was a co-founder of the International Institute of Women's Entrepreneurship at the College and is now the CEO of United Family Practice Health Center (a community clinic) in St. Paul. "Mary does a great job interacting with each student and helps them develop their business plan from a very useful point of view. I'm excited that Christopher brings in expertise on some of the newer social media avenues now available to business. Traditional classroom curriculum is greatly enhanced by using relevant business practices and case studies from practicing experts in the field - we are thrilled Sterling Cross is joining us again this year," concluded Bailey.
