2009-09-18 09:16:42 - Maple Grove Arts Council Announces 2009 Maple Grove Autumn Art FairMaple Grove, MN - The Maple Grove Arts Council (MGAC) announced today the details of this year’s Maple Grove Autumn Art Fair.
Date: Saturday, September 19, from 10 am – 6 pm and
Sunday, September 20, from 11 am – 5 pm.
Cost: Admission is free and ample free parking is available, including in the Transit-Station parking ramp.
What: More than 70 previewed artists will be showing and selling visual arts in categories including: painting, sculpture, ceramics, jewelry, photography and woodwork.
Visuals: Entertainment (including Maple Grove’s Celtic Trio Locklin Road), food booths, educational activities for children and families, and art demonstrations are featured.
Entertainment this year showcases the Maple Grove Arts Council Jazz Ensemble under the direction of Paul Mazzacano.

4pm-6pm Peace Pickers Bluegrass Band
Sunday September 20

Strolling Musician Paul Imholte will perform all day Sunday.
The Maple Grove Arts Council, a non-profit organization celebrating over 10years of supporting the arts in Maple Grove, serves to enhance the fast growing community with all art disciplines through awareness, appreciation and participation of the arts. The Council promotes the community’s unique art culture through events such as their annual art fair and the growing student art show. Their goal is to bring Maple Grove a Center for the Arts in the next five to ten years that will allow enjoyment of visual and performing arts.
